And is was an awesome time! I saw parts of the country that made my jaw drop. I saw the most beautiful sunset coming back in to Texas and a spectacular rainbow greeting us as we drove near Albuquerque. We avoided livestock in the road, had alien-like jackrabbits come to the side of the asphalt and watch us drive by in the dark of night, we saw two elk (!), hiked, biked, and enjoyed! It was such a great trip and I'll post pictures in a second.
There are so many stories to tell of the trip and I'll type them out eventually but for now I'm going to get back in the Cycloclub mindset and refocus on my goals since I hit the first short term goals. Next post (after the pics) will be related to Cyclo-Core training.
